Project Overview:
Huan Dao Nan Road, located in the heart of Xiamen, is known for its hilly terrain, with some sections featuring steep slopes. The area is rich in green spaces and parks, and its elevated grounds offer stunning views of the sea. Well-connected by transportation, it is an ideal location for both residential and commercial development. Recently, Bimodeling completed a 3D scanning and mapping project to document the terrain of the Huan Dao Nan Road site in Xiamen.
Project Details:
Bimodeling obtained original 3D data of the plot, surrounding roads, and buildings through 3D scanning. The Truview web database was then generated through post-processing. The database can carry out 360° panoramic browsing and editing of the terrain while calculating the coordinates and elevation of any position of the terrain by itself. It can also measure the distance at any position, with the accuracy of up to millimeter scale.
In addition, with the special requirements of the project, Bimodeling generated contour lines, cross-sectional lines and cross-sectional meshes of the terrain through secondary data processing, providing accurate data support for the design, planning and construction of the project in the later stage of the project through the Truview web database.
